Coming from the beautiful Ocotepeque region, this coffee is grown at an altitude of 1650 metres, where environmental conditions favor the development of rich and complex flavours. The Catuai and Lempira varieties come together to create an enveloping and balanced aromatic profile.

The washed manufacturing process enhances the sweetness and softness of the coffee, giving notes of dried fruit, milk chocolate and a light note of honey. This coffee is ideal for those looking for a balanced tasting experience full of character.

 

Where’s it from?

Finca Tras del Cerro is located in Honduras, in the department of Ocotepeque, in the western part of the country, at an altitude of 1650 meters above sea level. The farm cultivates a variety of coffee plants, including Catuai, Bourbon, Ihcafe 90, Parainema, Lempira, and a small area of Pacamara. The production is managed by Edgar Enemecio Márquez, a second-generation coffee producer, who maintains an artisanal approach to harvesting. One of the farm's most special offerings is the "Lote Jehú," named after the producer's son. The coffee undergoes a meticulous process of pulping, washing, and artisanal drying using well-ventilated dryers, allowing for a slower, more controlled drying phase. It is then stored in grainpro bags to ensure optimal preservation of quality.
